Concrete Technologies Expands Fleet with Next Generation CASE CTLs

Founded in 2001 as a small crew focused on commercial flatwork, Concrete Technology Incorporated (CTI) (Grimes, Iowa) has grown to more than 150 employees and has expanded its scope of services to include heavy highway paving, DOT and municipality work.

CTI has also expanded to include both ready-mix and recycling divisions. “Our paving side is kind of our bread-and-butter now, but we also have a pretty good size of commercial crews that do [data centers], your bigger warehouses, [gas stations]—a lot of that,” explains Charlie Knudsen, paving operations manager, CTI. “So we do a little of everything. We even started recycling back about five years ago, where we crush our own stone. And then we have a sister ready-mix company so we can haul our own concrete also.”

CASE Supports Team Rubicon in Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta Cleanup Operations

Team Rubicon is deploying ongoing waves of volunteers to Louisiana to help residents clear routes, debris and damage from the powerful hurricanes that made landfall in August and October.

CASE Construction Equipment has provided equipment, service and support to Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster relief organization in Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Laura, which struck southwest Louisiana in August. This includes skid steers and compact track loaders outfitted with grapple buckets to perform route clearance, debris removal, and to work in conjunction with Team Rubicon sawyer teams who are clearing thousands of trees that fell on properties throughout the area.

Mini Excavator Powers Homebuilder’s Utility Crew

S&E Properties has been in the single-family residential development business for more than 20 years.

In that time the company has successfully developed 16 neighborhoods with more than 1,000 lots in the greater Knoxville, Tennessee area — and those numbers continue to grow. Owner Scott Smith attributes the company’s success to his team’s ability to provide added value to homebuyers by doing the majority of their own site utility work.
