CASE Launches Combination Vibratory Roller

CASE Construction Equipment introduces the new DV45CC combination vibratory roller. The new vibratory roller compacts with the front drum and delivers a smooth finish with the rear pneumatic tires. An offset drum with tapered edge and high curb clearance offers precision compaction capabilities in tight spaces; and adjustable scrapers, an automatic vibration control system and a pressurized water system ensure a smooth, clean finish in a variety of asphalt applications.

With an operating weight of 10,296 pounds and drum width of 54 inches, the DV45CC is ideal for walkways, residential driveways, bike paths, tennis courts and small parking lots.

CASE Introduces CX290D Material Handler and CX290D Scrap Loader for Waste and Scrap Applications

CASE Construction Equipment has introduced two all-new crawler excavators to its D Series lineup: the CX290D material handler and CX290D scrap loader. With an operating weight of 72,100 pounds and lift capacities of up to 24,650 pounds, each purpose-built model is designed specifically for use with grapples, magnets, shears and other attachments used in the scrap and waste industries, and offers several key features that fine-tune the machines for material handling and scrap loading applications.

The CX290D material handler features a 177 HP Tier 4 Final engine, a hydraulically controlled elevating cab, longer arm and boom with optimized hydraulic circuits for improved attachment performance and reduced shock in the cab, as well as an electronic sensor-driven anti-interference device that automatically prevents the grapple or other attachments from coming into contact with the machine’s structure during operation. The CX290D also features additional guarding on the cab and undercarriage designed to protect the operator and machine during tough waste and scrap handling applications. The scrap loader version features a goose-neck arm and a straight boom configuration for dedicated scrap loading applications.

CASE Launches All-New Mini Excavator Line with Six New Models

CASE Introduces the DL450 – the Industry’s First-Ever Fully Integrated Compact Dozer Loader

CASE Construction Equipment introduces the DL450 compact dozer loader – AKA “Project Minotaur” – a first-of-its-kind fully integrated design that matches the best operating characteristics of a compact track loader (CTL) with a crawler dozer. A launch/production date for the machine has not been confirmed, but CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 represents a new and advanced phase in product development with extensive voice of customer work being conducted at the show and with top contractors.

“In 1957, we changed the industry with the introduction of the first-ever fully integrated backhoe loader,” says Scott Harris, vice president – North America, CASE Construction Equipment. “The DL450 compact dozer loader represents that same forward-thinking and practical innovation, but in an exciting new platform that provides a real benefit to contractors – from landscapers looking to step up their grading and earthmoving game, to residential and commercial contractors looking for versatility and dual-function in a single footprint.”

CASE “Team Rubicon Disaster Response SV340” to be Unveiled at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017

CASE Construction Equipment will unveil the “Team Rubicon Disaster Response SV340” at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 in booth N11825 (North Hall). CASE to Donate more than $175,000 in Materials to Habitat for Humanity from CONEXPO Exhibit

CASE Construction Equipment will donate more than $175,000 in materials to Habitat for Humanity from its exhibit at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. This includes 40,000 square feet of carpeting and padding and 5,634 square feet of finished plywood paneling. Habitat for Humanity, a leading global nonprofit that works in more than 1,400 communities throughout the United States and 70 countries worldwide, will put the materials to use on home building projects throughout the U.S.

CASE has partnered with exhibit provider Steelhead Productions to deploy a booth structure that will be re-used by other vendors for future events – and all marketing materials, signage and branding from the booth will be repurposed at CASE facilities and dealerships throughout North America. The goal: leave almost zero impact on landfills and waste services from the company’s exhibit at one of the world’s largest trade shows.

CASE Announces Tier 4 Final Double Drum Vibratory Asphalt Rollers

CASE Construction Equipment introduces two new double drum asphalt rollers—the DV209D and DV210D. The new vibratory asphalt rollers deliver 100 percent tractive effort and reliable compaction performance due to a balanced drum design and a variety of standard features, including automatic vibration control, crab steering, an oscillating articulated roller joint and a pressurized triple-filtration water system. An available high-frequency option allows for frequencies up to 4,020 vpm (67 Hz) for greater control of compaction performance based on the thickness and density requirements of each lift. A combination option is also available for both models, featuring a vibratory front roller and rear pneumatic tires that provide a smooth surface finish.

The DV209D and DV210D also feature a fully adjustable and intuitive operator environment with a steering wheel instrument cluster and digital display.

Team Rubicon and CASE Construction Equipment Assist in Landmark Conservation Efforts at Salton Sea

The Salton Sea, a large, shallow saline lake in the desert of Southern California, was formed as it stands today when an irrigation canal carrying water from the Colorado River broke in 1905. By the 1960s the lake had become a vacation paradise filled with resorts and hotels, and at the time was referred to by some developers as “the American Riviera.”

During the 1980s and 1990s the lake was home to one of the greatest sport fisheries in the world. However, because it has served as a drainage sump for over 100 years, the Sea has accumulated excessive nutrients and other chemical compounds, primarily in the form of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and salt. The increasing nutrient and salinity levels are killing the Sea, as the water is becoming too salty for most life forms.

JWH Equipment Supports Team Rubicon on Operation Iron Bird

Veteran-led disaster relief organization Team Rubicon deployed its heavy equipment operators to Hattiesburg, Mississippi February 2-10, 2017 to assist in demolishing damaged houses and clearing debris caused by the EF3 tornado that hit the city on January 21, 2017. CASE dealer JWH Equipment (Jackson, Mississippi) supplied an excavator and compact track loader for Team Rubicon’s Operation Iron Bird, which demolished 17 houses and cleared an additional 13 properties of tornado debris for free.

“Our goal while we’re out here as volunteers is to help as many people as we can, to get them to the point where they can rebuild their properties,” says Victor Civitillo, a certified heavy equipment instructor and operator with Team Rubicon who managed the heavy equipment deployment. “Having the CASE heavy equipment here means we can accomplish in two hours what would normally take a full day for a crew working with hand tools. So together we can help families get back on their feet faster, and then the whole community and the local economy recover faster.”
