CASE Employees Support “Women Build” Event

Habitat build draws attention to inequality in homebuying process for women; the CNH Industrial Foundation is presenting sponsor for the event.

CASE Construction Equipment employees are volunteering as part of Racine Habitat for Humanity’s first ever “Women Build” project — a Racine homebuilding project drawing particular attention to housing inequality and the challenges faced by women who are first-time homebuyers. Each home is priced at fair market value, and loans are interest free with mortgage payments targeted to be below 30 percent of the homeowner’s monthly income.

“We are committed to supporting more affordable housing opportunities, and fully support diversity, equity and inclusion in our communities,” says Athena Campos, CNH Industrial Foundation board member, and also head of market development, CASE Construction Equipment. “We see the Women Build project as something that is extremely beneficial for Racine, and critically important in building strong and resilient communities that support family growth and development.”

CASE Introduces Excavator OEM-Fit SiteControl Machine Control Solutions

OEM-Fit offering ensures the proper match of excavator and machine control solution from Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, and simplifies the acquisition process with a single financing package.

CASE Construction Equipment introduces OEM-Fit 2D and 3D machine control solutions designed by Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon — now available for CASE D Series excavators from CASE SiteControl Certified dealers. This new option ensures that the optimal combination of machine and solution is installed and tested by CASE certified precision field specialists. It also simplifies the acquisition process and allows for the technology to be grouped in with the purchase of the machine — combining the financing or lease approval, rate and payment in a single package.

“It takes the guesswork out of what solution works best with each machine, and ensures that it is installed and tested by certified professionals before it’s delivered to the contractor,” says Nathaniel Waldschmidt, product manager, CASE Construction Equipment. “The excavator and the machine control system are optimally matched and calibrated — helping the owners and operators of each machine get up and running immediately upon delivery of the machine.”

Phoenix is the kind of environment that manufacturers have in mind when they test heavy equipment — temperatures above 100 degrees, tough digging conditions, and a housing market that has rebounded and is keeping contractors and their equipment busy 24/7.

The Universal Group is an underground utilities contractor in Phoenix that is benefiting from the current state of commercial, non-residential and residential building construction in the market. The company specializes in utility excavation – both dry and wet – and runs a fleet of five CASE CX210D excavators supported by local CASE dealer Titan Machinery.
