Power, Ease of Transportation & Factory-Fit Machine Control Drive Dozer Performance

CASE 850M dozer works from cut-and-fill to fine grading, and offers benefits — from acquisition to resale — of factory-fit machine control.

Dirt work is in Brian Golden’s blood — and the connection to each generation of his family is present every day at MacMor Construction LLC. Founded in 2013 and named after his daughters — Mackenzie and Morgan — MacMor started as a three-man crew and has grown into a sitework and heavy highway powerhouse with 46 full-time employees.

“My father was a general superintendent back in the day,” explains Golden. “He’s actually still involved today — he’s come on and he runs the field operations for me now. This has been something that’s been in my blood forever, and it’s just, I like the work. I like the equipment, I like dealing with the owners… It’s just what I do.”

CASE Introduces OEM Universal Machine Control Compatibility Kit

CASE Construction Equipment has developed a universal machine control option for its production class M Series dozers (1150M, 1650M and 2050M) that makes each machine factory compatible with all major suppliers of machine control technology, including Topcon, Trimble, and CASE precision partner Leica Geosystems, within a single “universal machine control” option.

CASE universal machine control provides a universal harness for blade guidance systems, universal machine brackets and mounts, and universal jumpers to integrate any industry solution into each dozer. This allows CASE dozers to be deployed, straight from the dealer, into any fleet-wide precision or machine control solution an owner/operator/contractor may deploy on their worksites. It also helps improve retained and resale value, as that CASE dozer will be compatible with any solution during resale into its 2nd or 3rd operational lifespan.

Team Rubicon and CASE Construction Equipment Assist in Landmark Conservation Efforts at Salton Sea

The Salton Sea, a large, shallow saline lake in the desert of Southern California, was formed as it stands today when an irrigation canal carrying water from the Colorado River broke in 1905. By the 1960s the lake had become a vacation paradise filled with resorts and hotels, and at the time was referred to by some developers as “the American Riviera.”

During the 1980s and 1990s the lake was home to one of the greatest sport fisheries in the world. However, because it has served as a drainage sump for over 100 years, the Sea has accumulated excessive nutrients and other chemical compounds, primarily in the form of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and salt. The increasing nutrient and salinity levels are killing the Sea, as the water is becoming too salty for most life forms.
