CASE Introduces Excavator OEM-Fit SiteControl Machine Control Solutions

OEM-Fit offering ensures the proper match of excavator and machine control solution from Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, and simplifies the acquisition process with a single financing package.

CASE Construction Equipment introduces OEM-Fit 2D and 3D machine control solutions designed by Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon — now available for CASE D Series excavators from CASE SiteControl Certified dealers. This new option ensures that the optimal combination of machine and solution is installed and tested by CASE certified precision field specialists. It also simplifies the acquisition process and allows for the technology to be grouped in with the purchase of the machine — combining the financing or lease approval, rate and payment in a single package.

“It takes the guesswork out of what solution works best with each machine, and ensures that it is installed and tested by certified professionals before it’s delivered to the contractor,” says Nathaniel Waldschmidt, product manager, CASE Construction Equipment. “The excavator and the machine control system are optimally matched and calibrated — helping the owners and operators of each machine get up and running immediately upon delivery of the machine.”

Cadillac Heavy Equipment Services Excels at Excavation on “The Rock”

By Andrew Dargatz, brand marketing manager, CASE Construction Equipment

Living on an island province nicknamed “The Rock” doesn’t conjure up images of easy digging.  It also drives heavy earthmoving contractors to consider larger equipment to tackle work that may be accomplished by smaller machines in simpler environments.

OCT Equipment Donates CTL and Excavator to Home Demolition for Korean War Veteran

CASE Construction Equipment dealer OCT Equipment donated the use of a compact track loader and excavator to Team Rubicon for the free demolition of a Korean War veteran’s house that was deemed uninhabitable. The initiative is led by Honoring America’s Warriors and will lead to the construction of a brand new home for Harold Edwards and his wife, Minnie, through a partnership with Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity.

Edwards served in Korea from 1950 to 1953 in the 1st Marine Division. Scotty Deatherage, the director of Honoring America’s Warriors, became aware of Edwards’ situation and assembled a coalition of veteran organizations and construction companies to do the work. Midwest Wrecking, Northeast Landfill and McRoof OKC have provided additional support for the project.

CASE and Sonsray Machinery Assist Team Rubicon During National Day of Service

Several days of equipment training throughout the week culminated in the Team Rubicon & Tough Mudder National Day of Service—a nationwide event bringing together volunteers from Team Rubicon, Tough Mudder and other organizations. A total of 60 volunteers from Team Rubicon participated in the event, ten of which are new operators participating in the heavy equipment training program.

Located just ten miles from the western gate of Yosemite National Park, the Family Camp at Yosemite—leased from the U.S. Forest Service and operated by the City of San Jose, California—sits on 47 acres of land in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
